saturdays
I like Saturdays. It brings a much needed pause from a whirlwind of a work week. It’s also the day I go through a little reset ritual.
- cleaning the apartment
- clearing surfaces as much as possible
- emptying my backpack
- replacing the bedding
- putting away unused things
- cleaning up computer files
- processing a couple of bookmarks
- processing emails and DMs
- updating software*
Then when things are once again in their pristine states, the rest of the day is left to the whims of leisure. These days I usually read, frequent art galleries and cafés, walk around Sukhumvit with a film camera, or just lounge on the couch and play Rain World or Stardew Valley or watch films/series, if the sun is shining at beyond tolerable levels.
Today, I spent a coffee-fuelled afternoon reading The Tatami Galaxy () by Tomihiko Morimo. In the evening, I continued practicing digital art and played with Krita’s colour blending mode.
